Following the success of the first workshop last year, Robert Gordon University and its on-campus pathway college, ICRGU, are delighted to announce the 2017 Portfolio Development Workshop - designed specifically for students wishing to embark upon an Architecture degree.

Led by Professor David McClean, Head of the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture at Robert Gordon University, the workshop is designed to guide and advise students (from Form 5 and up) as they look to develop a portfolio for university admission. The workshop will give students a taste of studio-based learning approaches, individual and group exercises and the opportunity to find out more about studying for this degree at Robert Gordon University.

The 18th and 19th May will be in a workshop format, whilst Saturday 20th will be 30-minute feedback discussions, one-on-one with students and parents.

Don't forget that Robert Gordon ranks 22nd in the UK for Architecture (The Times, 2017) and is also the third oldest school of architecture in the UK. It has also recently celebrated 100 years of RIBA accreditation.

Students can sign up using the link above. The information pack can also be downloaded from within the registration link. The event is free.

"The 2016 workshop helped me hugely. It was so important to start thinking about my portfolio for studying architecture. I'm now almost finished the first year of my architecture degree!"

Kwan Yi Eleanor LING, workshop participant in 2016, Hong Kong
